安装电缆管箱前，就在桥上设置支架，支撑架的大小随选用电缆管箱规格而定，但间距不应大于1500mm,一般用角钢制作。将电缆管箱放在支架上，位置确定后即可在支撑架的位置上用手电钻钻透电缆管箱及支撑架，然后用螺栓拧紧，每个支撑架上钻孔两个，孔径10mm,使用M8螺栓两套。在电缆管箱的接头处应使用承插式接头及接缝盖板以使两段电缆管箱连接成一个整体。电缆管箱与路基电缆间的连接可采用砼管或钢管。道路拐弯处用玻璃钢电缆管箱弯头与管箱连接。箱盖与箱体用塑料螺栓和不锈钢螺栓固定。这样安装就顺利完成了，特别适用于高速公路，铁路，隧道，电力，石油，化工，市政府等工程建设，受到铁道部，交通部等有关部门和用户的一致好评。
